Bio
Coach Vance Dallas is a proud alumnus of Frankston High School, where he played under legendary Coach Robert Loper on the 2001-2002 state tournament basketball team. After graduating, Vance pursued his passion for sports by earning a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Texas State University. His dedication to coaching and teaching began at Brookeland High School in 2014-15, where he developed his leadership skills and love for working with student-athletes.
In 2015, Coach Dallas took on a new challenge at Douglass High School, where he coached the Indians for nine successful seasons. During his tenure, he led the team to 218 wins, building a strong reputation for his ability to motivate and guide his players to success both on and off the court. His commitment to student achievement has been a hallmark of his coaching philosophy throughout his career.
Now, Coach Dallas has returned to his alma mater as the head basketball and cross country coach at Frankston ISD, where he also teaches history. He remains deeply committed to fostering both athletic and academic excellence, helping his students grow as athletes, scholars, and individuals.
