Bio

Tatum Pugh is a recent graduate of Sam Houston State University, completing her degree in December 2023. Growing up in a family deeply connected to education, Tatum was inspired by her mother, a dedicated elementary educator of 27 years. With a passion for both teaching and agriculture, she chose to merge these two interests to create opportunities for students. Her goal is to help students, particularly those lacking resources, gain access to the benefits agriculture offers, including showing livestock and applying for scholarships.

Tatum is in her first year at Frankston and beginning her first full year as an educator. Her enthusiasm for teaching is fueled by the chance to make a difference in students' lives, helping them explore opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. Tatum credits her mother and her teaching partners as her role models, learning from their experience and dedication to the profession.

Outside of her work in the classroom, Tatum enjoys reading and finds joy in expanding her knowledge and exploring new ideas through books. She is excited to continue her journey in education, driven by her passion for agriculture and her commitment to helping students succeed.
