    Excellent website for locating the right college for you! This site details specific information about degrees, scholarships, and financial aide for the Texas student.  
  •  FAFSA
    This site provides an early estimate of your eligibility for federal student aid. This is for planning only!
  • Apply Texas
    This website provides the common application for most Texas universities, colleges, and many scholarships that are funded through the admissions office and/or financial aid office. For the junior student, various university and college requirements may be researched at this site.

FAFSA
This site has online forms and information about FAFSA. Once you get your PIN from the website listed below, this is your next step in securing grants, loans, and free money from the Federal government. This is the official website, and secured with the United States Federal Government.

FAFSA PIN Registration
Getting your PIN early, ideally before December, will expedite your application and determination process with the FAFSA. This is a completely secure government endorsed website and a step you MUST TAKE to start your child's application to any university or college.

Tips for Filling Out Your FAFSA
This is an authorized site with tips on how to fill out your FAFSA properly.

FinAid
The Smart Student's Guide to Financial Aid was established in the Fall of 1994 as a public service. This award-winning site has become the most comprehensive collection of information about student financial aid on the web.

FastWEB
This site is a database where you can search through more than 275,000 private sector scholarships, fellowships, grants, and loans from more than 10,000 sources worth more than $775 million. You can also sign up to be notified by email when new scholarships that meet your criteria become available.

Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation
This private, non-profit corporation has been designated to administer the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP)

Additional Scholarships

--Odenza Marketing Group Spring Scholarship$500 – 1 Award (Deadline: March 30, 2014)
 
    To be Eligible a student must:

    1.  Be between the ages of 16 and 25 on March 30th, 2014.
    2.  Submit answers to the essay questions, which can be found on the application page, prior to the March 30th, 2014 deadline.
    3.  Have at least one full year of post secondary studies remaining at the time of the award. (Current High School Students are also eligible.)
    4.  Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.

--Peter Pasula Study Habits Scholarship

    $500 – 1 Award (Deadline: April 1st, 2014)

    To be Eligible a student must:
    1.  Be attending an accredited post-secondary institution by the fall of 2014.
    2.  A student can be enrolled at any level in any program that is two years in length or longer.
    3.  Students must be Canadian or US residents.
    4.  Students must answer the essay question on the website online application form.

--Find A Law Scholarship$500 – 1 Award (Deadline: May 15th, 2014)
 
    To be Eligible a student must:

    1.  Be Enrolled in full-time studies at a college, trades, or technical school by no later than September 2014.
    2.  Currently reside in the United States and intend on continuing studies in the United States.
    3.  Complete the Online Form and Short Question by no later than May 15, 2014.
