Jennifer Bruton Mascorro

Teacher

Bio

Mrs. Mascorro is a Frankston and SFA alumni. She went into the field of education because it provided her the opportunity to work and still be an involved parent to her children. She loves math, and with the support of people like Mr. Jim Smith, one of her middle school and high school teachers, she has embarked on a career that now spans over 20 years.

She loves working with the students that walk into her classroom with the "I hate math" mentality and watching them grow to love math over the course of the year.  She is motivated to continue in the field of education for because of the students.  Mrs. Mascorro strives for those moments when struggling students have that aha moment and tells her, "I finally get it!"

Mrs. Mascorro loves spending time with her family.  She has quite a large family, 7 children, so she stays very busy.  She enjoys watching them participate in sports and other activities. Her family lives on a farm, so a lot of time is spent tending to the animals. In the little spare time she has, she likes going out to eat, trying new restaurants, and watching movies.
