Frankston ISD had 5 students attend the Tapia STEM Computer Science camp this past week at Rice University. Those who attended were Logan Casey, Caden Fuller, Dalton Jones, Keaton Westbrook and Zavier Yohe. The camps are designed to empower motivated, academically successful, and underrepresented students who are passionate about math and science. The students had the opportunity to work in groups, research, plan, and execute projects and presentations while competing against other teams. Our students represented Frankston well! Congratulations to Logan Casey and Caden Fuller: 1st place Visual Presentation. Zavier Yohe: 2nd place Visual Presentation & Logan Casey: 2nd place Oral Presentation. We hope to have more students participate in this unique opportunity next year.
