For decades the Walmart corporation has established a culture of giving back to the communities that house its stores and distribution centers creating an annual charitable contribution amount of roughly $1.4 billion. This summer Frankston ISD found itself as a recipient of Walmart’s long history of generosity.
As summer was drawing to an end, Julie Sharp from Walmart Distribution Center 6036 reached out to FISD teacher Jennifer Mascarro about a possible donation to Frankston schools. In coordination with district Business Manager Randi Westbrook and Superintendent Nicci Cook, Mrs. Sharp orchestrated a donation on behalf of Walmart DC 6036 which included hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, classroom supplies, and much more.
The FISD family is extremely grateful to Walmart DC 6036 for reaching out with this donation! Your gift will go a long way towards insuring another successful Indian school year.
