Affordable Connectivity Program FCC

Find out if your household qualifies for savings on your monthly internet bill.  Visit the FCC's website for more information.  According to the FCC, "

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.

The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household."

FISD Honor Wall Inductees FISD Honors

Every year members of the Frankston Community nominate fellow citizens whom they feel embody the true spirit of what it is to be a Frankston Indian.  This year the Wall of Honor Committee proudly inducts former FISD Teacher, Coach, and Athletic Director Robert Loper, and former FISD Board Member Carl House.

Carl House is remembered as a valued member, not only of the Frankston Board of Trustees, but of the Frankston community.  Pastor of The United Methodist Church of Frankston Matt Thomas remarked that Mr. House was an anchor, a dependable member of his church, community and of FISD.  Mr. House could always be depended on to use his many skills to the benefit of those around him. Mr. House was a proud member of his church, this community, and FISD, continuing to serve even after his sons had graduated
